Vegetables. A very simple food that is often over looked and even more misunderstood. Having grown up in the Midwest where vegetables are considered pretentious unless they’re deep fat fried or covered in cheese, I know how difficult it can be to open yourself up to asparagus. But don’t be afraid! It’s good for you! And after you take a life altering shit which feels like you’ve given birth, you’ll thank me. And in a way, you will be giving birth. You’re shitting out all the garbage you normally eat and making way for a new healthy body. Vitamins and minerals pumping through your blood stream making you feel like you can kick the worlds ass!
And it’s as simple as this….
Broccoli
Asparagus
Green/Red peppers
Mushrooms
Chop 8 or 10 pieces of broccoli off the stalk, snap the bottoms off the asparagus, wash the mushrooms, and slice the green and red peppers up and throw everything into a pan. Put about a half of a cup of water in the pan, put the burner on medium high heat and cover the pan with a lid. Let them sit for 5 to 10 minutes depending on how soft or crispy you prefer them, stirring occasionally.
Serve with some scrambled egg whites for breakfast, or a turkey sandwich for lunch, or grilled chicken breast for dinner. I can’t believe I have to explain this shit to you people! It’s a vegetable! Eat it! And don’t cover it in fucking oil.
Welcome to your new life.
Mushrooms are not a vegetable. But they are tasty!
Tip: Never steam broccoli for more than 12 minutes because it will give you gas!
